Charles Lerche is trained in Political Science
and International Relations, and has many years experience
teaching a variety of courses in the Social Sciences. He
currently teaches in two online graduate programs in International
Relations (Troy State University, and Norwich University),
and has extensive experience using a variety of courseware
and other IT tools in course design and teaching; including,
among others, Blackboard.com and Lotus Learning Space.
His
research interests include international relations, the
politics of the Global South, world order and peace and
conflict studies. He has co-authored Concepts of International
Politics in Global Perspective, edited two volumes of essays
on world order studies, and published articles in several
academic journals, including The Journal of African Studies,
the Journal of Asian and African Studies, Peace and Conflict
Studies, the International Journal of Peace Studies, and
International Politics.
